uartsadmissions: Did you know that Tim O’Brien, a professor of illustration  at University of the Arts, created the now iconic image of the Mockingjay that Katniss Everdeen wears as a brooch throughout The Hunger Games series? His art is also featured on the covers of Catching Fire and Mockingjay. O’Brien has taught at UArts for two decades, and in this article from the Philadelphia Inquirer, says “I think it’s important to have an instructor that’s in the game.” O’Brien recently was in the press for his portrait of Steve Jobs that ran in the Wall Street Journal after his death.
